Concept
Akihabara UDX is a core facility that came about from large-scale multi-use composite building. The property is a diverse fusion: restaurants, showrooms, multi-purpose event space “Akiba Square”, parking etc. The “Akiba Ichi” restaurant arcade is a focal point and is loosely based on a good old downtown/Akihabara “Yachaba” fruit market concept: a central space with a great atmosphere where people naturally gather.
