Acquisition of Office Building in London, UK

April 13,2020 NTT Urban Development

NTT Urban Development Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and Chief Executive Officer: Hiroshi Nakagawa) has acquired a 100% equity interest in a London office building "130 Wood Street" through its local subsidiary, UD Europe Limited.

The property is conveniently located close to St. Paul's Cathedral in Central London and is accessible from a number of train stations such as St. Paul's Station, Bank Station and Mansion House Station. In addition to office buildings, restaurants and cafes, it is surrounded by a variety of commercial and cultural facilities such as One New Change, the London Museum and the Barbican Center. The building is in a prime and busy office commercial location that also attracts many tourists.

130 Wood street is an important strategic Investment because in this location near St. Paul's Cathedral, there are building height restrictions prohibiting tall towers meaning that this location will attract a more diverse range of tenants.

NTT Urban Development will enhance its profit revenue with this acquisition, and will continue to develop and expand its real estate business in the UK.
